The M I A RECORDS was officially created in 1976, but already, a few years back, the founders elaborated a program looking for young interpreters of Italian popular and folk music and organizing their own realization like the participation during the LUCIO BATTISTI exhibition at Poggio Burstone (Rieti) in 1970, Il Semaforo d'Oro (The Golden Signal Light), La tre giorni della musica leggera (The Three Days of Pop Music) (Roma e Lazio: 1964, 1966 e 1968), Giovani talenti alla ribalta' (Young Talents making news) a Rendinara (Aquila) e a Toronto (Canada) in 1973; and so on... Attaching itself to M I A RECORDS is the G I A R A Edizioni Musicali. The founders, coming from experiences from RCA, have been active since 1958 as producers of some of the most important recording studios of that age, and have been able to make of MIA RECORDS a known lable and appreciated in international levels. From the beginning the line of recording productions were for young talents coming from various organized concerts created and produced by MIA RECORDS (Il catamare 1976*1978, Il pescacantanti 1977*1985, La festa dei nonni, I cantafavole 1978*1985, and so on....) Some of these young
talents are now well known in Italy and abroad, bringing high sales
to their record companies and becoming part of the Italian popular music: And
